A VISIT TO MUSEUM OF MODERN ART

My visit to Museum of Modern Art was a pleasure. It was worth going to this museum because They have great images, especially on the second floor. Second floor is a show, The Shapes of Things. This gallery shows many different pictures taken in the early days. Most of these images are taken with black and white film color. I really like Telberg’s works, The exhibition of witch. It express states of dreaming, fantasy, nightmare and hallucination. This image was influence of America experimental film of postwar period. It shows the whiteness of the landscape with the female figure in the foreground and the male hovering the female. This image shows a lot of feelings as well as sexual feel during that time. The background of this image is very hallucinating because of the sky creating a hole ready for a tornado or something. The witch had also played a significant role in U.S. history, the term took on a new political dimension in the late 1940s as paranoia about the influence of communism on the nation’s affairs which created a new climate. Another image that I really like is from William Wegman, where he photographs images of his dogs. Reason Why I like this is because I love dogs. It makes the exhibition a little cuter. Wegman used several photographs and videos to show humor, lightness and irony to his practice. He purchased the dog and named him after the photographer Man Ray. He published the year of the dog’s death. He purchased the dog in 1970 which is very old, maybe the only dog is being capture at that time with a film camera. Lastly, I really like the image capture at a staircase. It shows a shadow of the women in the film which I think it’s fascinating. This was taken at the bottom of the stairs and up.

My name is Darren and I am interested in the field of Media. In Media, I feel like I can do many hands on activities, not like other major such as accountant where you sit at one place calculating tax and money. I am motivated in doing some kind of blogging and video editing which can later on build my career of marketing. I am hoping to seek a job in an advertising or public relation company. I follow up on Social Media everyday which makes me a great person to be keeping up on daily life and news. I know many things about Media just by watching youtube or interacting with friends through these social media. The inspiration of movies have influenced me to become in this field also because it feels great to watch a movie and see how rich and big hollywood is in this world. I am interested in photo shooting which can help improve my videos on my project or on my channel. I feel like Media can lead you into many path.
